Privacy Policy

This statement applies to user interaction with the www.touchtecGL.nz website, which TouchtecGL controls customer Applications and Web Services subscriptions licences, & venue reporting if implemented.

Information that you provide

When you sign up with TouchtecGL to act as your Point of Sale provider, we request from you certain personal | company information. All the information that we request is compulsory to enable TouchtecGL to manage your account, unless otherwise clearly stated. The information that you provide must be complete, accurate and current at the time of registration. 

In addition to the information you provide on the request for registration, we also maintain a record of whether and when you use the information and services that we provide. We use this information to assess the services that we provide and to ensure that they respond to your needs and interests. We also record site traffic patterns and maintain log files of users access to site files.

TouchtecGL uses 3rd party Service provider if you wish to know who we use please email us at  support@touchtecgl.nz .

TouchtecGL & our service provider tracks user traffic patterns throughout and we use this information to compare with data about individual users. TouchtecGL also uses cookies for keeping track of user login and session data.

Certain financial information is recorded for our accounting systems, however, if you use your credit card at our website we discarded after use and is not stored.

What happens and what we do with the information that you have provided

The information that you provide is stored on our databases. We use the information for statistical purposes such as to gauge customers interests and to assist in providing customer support and services. We may from time to time contact you with new service offerings. You may remove yourself from these mailings at any time by emailing us at  support@touchtecgl.nz

Security of Information

The information that you provide and which we receive is stored on our systems that are designed to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of that information. We encrypt certain sensitive information such as usernames and passwords to ensure maximum protection.

Payment Security is managed through Stripe for mutual security. Encryption protection is managed with an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, industry standard 128bit encryption software.

Customers’ personal information provided when purchasing goods online, will not be shared with third parties without customer approval to do so. Public Information

We do not report to any Public listing or Government site, so no information is passed on.

Your Rights to Access and Change Information

A user can change their contact details but cannot change their email address or country. As we are very concerned about security we will only respond to emails stored on file, Alternatively, you can email us at  support@touchtecgl.nz

Sharing Information

To comply with our contractual obligations, All tokens & passwords will be sent separately to the email held in the customer record we will not provide over the phone unless we can identify the person. 

We do not share your information with other third parties except where we are obliged by court order or another request from a law enforcement authority.

Call Recording

We will be implementing a call recording system in the future. 

We record all telephone calls answered in our contact centre. This helps us to identify ways that we can provide you with a better service. We record calls for the following purposes:

  • for staff training, to improve our customer service and to ensure the information we provide to you is consistent and accurate
  • for reporting on the different types of enquiries we receive
  • to keep a record of your call, which may be needed to support any transactions that take place over the phone and/or if there is a dispute.

You can ask for access to the recording of your call by emailing us at  support@touchtecgl.nz . Your email will need to match the email on file and provide us with the exact details of the date and time of your call, and the phone number you called from. Phone call recordings are stored securely for 90 days and then destroyed.

 

Our Accountability

When you purchase our services there is a mutual obligation: for you to provide certain accurate information and for TouchtecGL to safeguard the information and to use and protect it as stated in this statement. It is TouchtecGL’s practice to permit only those employees who are authorised to access and use your information for the purposes outlined in this statement. If you have any concern about privacy at TouchtecGL, please email support@touchtecgl.nz and we will try to resolve it. Our business changes constantly. This Notice and the Services Agreement will change also, and use of information that we gather now is subject to the Privacy Notice in effect at the time of use. You should check our website frequently to see recent changes and to stay informed on how we are protecting your information.
